A Photo Report App for iPhone
Writing up photos usually means sending them to a computer, dropping them into a document and typing out where and when each one was taken. By then you’re on the next job.
Job Stamp already knows the time, address and note for every photo in a job, so it builds the report for you on your iPhone. You check it and send it before you leave.
What goes in the report
The first page reads like a document from your business:
- Your letterhead: logo, business name, phone, email and website
- A report title, like Final Walkthrough Report or Roof Inspection
- A reference number labeled Job #, Claim #, Work order # or Inspection #
- Prepared for, site address, date of visit and prepared by
- Your own fields, like Permit # or Policy #, and a written summary
- An optional cover photo you choose
Photo pages
Choose 1, 2, 4, 6 or 9 photos per page, on A4, US Letter, Legal, A3 or Tabloid paper. Each photo is numbered and captioned with its note, date and time, address, and, if you like, the GPS coordinates with their accuracy, the compass direction and a mini map. Pages are numbered, and accents use your brand color.
Ending the report
Add sign-off lines for you and the client, and a short note explaining that times and locations were recorded by the phone. Job Stamp remembers your title and options, so the next report starts where this one left off.
