An Inspection Photo App for iPhone

An inspection is only as useful as its photos. Each one needs to show what you saw, where it was and when, with a note on what it means.

Job Stamp stamps every photo with the date, time and address, keeps your notes with it, and builds the inspection report from the job’s photos.

Inspections it’s used for

The same workflow covers most inspection work:

  • Site inspections and walk-throughs
  • Home and roof inspections
  • Move-in and move-out condition reports for rentals
  • Property management and maintenance checks
  • Photos for insurance claims, labeled with your claim or policy number

Notes on the photo

Add a note like “water staining at ceiling, bedroom 2” to any photo. It can print on the stamp, and it captions the photo in the report, so the reader knows what they’re looking at.

The inspection report

Title it Site Inspection, Roof Inspection or Move-Out Condition Report, and add the inspection or claim number, who it’s prepared for and a summary of findings. Photos follow in the order they were taken, numbered, with their notes, times, addresses and, if you want them, coordinates and the compass direction the camera faced.
