Privacy Policy

Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how Job Stamp (“we”, “our”, or “us”), an app by Axius Apps, handles your information when you use our mobile application (“App”). In short: your photos, jobs, locations and business details are stored on your iPhone, and we never receive them. There is no account to create. We use anonymous usage analytics to improve the App, and we never sell your information or use it for advertising.

Information Stored on Your Device

The App stores the following on your iPhone so it can work. It is not sent to us.

Photos: The photos you take or import, both the original and the stamped copy, along with thumbnails and the reports you create.

Photo details: For each photo, the date, time and time zone it was taken, and, if you allow location access, its GPS coordinates, altitude, accuracy, compass heading and street address. Any notes you add, and whether you edited the stamp.

Jobs: The job names, client names, site addresses, reference numbers, notes and report fields you enter.

Business details: Your business name, your name, phone number, email address, website, logo, brand color and any extra fields you add (such as a license number), used on your stamps and reports.

Preferences: Your stamp style and settings, report options, and the answers you give during setup (such as your type of work), which the App uses to set itself up for you.

Camera and Photos

The App asks for camera access to take your job photos. If you import photos, you choose which ones the App can read from your photo library, and the App reads the date and location saved in them. If you turn on saving to Photos, the App adds stamped copies to your library. The App never uploads your photos.

Location

If you allow it, the App uses your location only while you are using it, to stamp the address, coordinates and map onto your photos. Your location is stored with your photos on your device and is never sent to us.

To turn coordinates into a street address and to draw the map on the stamp, the App uses Apple's geocoding and Apple Maps services built into iOS. To provide them, your iPhone sends the relevant coordinates to Apple, which handles them under Apple's Privacy Policy. You can turn location access off at any time in your iPhone Settings. The App still works and stamps the date and time.

Photos and Reports You Share

Stamped photos and reports show the details you chose to include, such as the address, coordinates, map, notes and your business details. Photos taken in the App also carry the date and GPS location in their file information. When you share, save or send a photo or report, the people and services you share it with receive that information. You decide what to share and with whom.

iCloud

The App's data is included in your iPhone's iCloud Backup if you use it. If you turn on iCloud Drive backup, the App copies your stamped photos to a Job Stamp folder in your own iCloud Drive. Both are stored in your iCloud account by Apple under Apple's terms. We cannot access them.

Analytics

We use TelemetryDeck, a privacy-focused analytics service, to understand how the App is used so we can improve it. Analytics are anonymous: the App creates a random identifier when it is installed and only a scrambled (hashed) version of it is sent. It is not linked to your name, email, Apple Account or device advertising identifier. The App sends:

- That the App was installed, opened or used that day

- The setup steps you reach and the options you pick (for example, your type of work, or whether you added a logo, but never the logo or business name itself)

- Whether you allowed the camera, location and notifications

- Subscription screen events, such as viewing a plan, starting a purchase or restoring

- When a report is created or shared, with its number of photos and pages

- The App version, and the country or region set on your iPhone

Analytics never include your photos, locations, addresses, notes, job or client names, or business details. TelemetryDeck handles this data under its Privacy Policy.

Subscriptions and Purchases

Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We never receive your payment details. We use RevenueCat to check whether you have an active subscription or purchase. RevenueCat receives an anonymous customer identifier, your purchase and subscription history from Apple, basic device and App information, and the anonymous analytics identifier described above, so that subscription events can appear in our anonymous analytics. RevenueCat handles this data under its Privacy Policy.

App Updates

The App checks Expo's update service (EAS Update) for fixes and improvements when it starts. These checks include the App version and platform, and, like any internet request, your IP address. They do not include any of your photos or data. Expo handles this under its Privacy Policy.

Notifications

If you start a free trial and leave the reminder on, the App asks to send notifications and schedules one reminder on your iPhone before the trial ends. Notifications are scheduled on your device; we do not run a notification server.

Contacting Support

If you email us from the App, your email includes the App version number to help us fix problems. You can remove it before sending. We use your email and anything you attach only to respond to you.

Tracking and Advertising

The App contains no advertising. We do not track you across apps or websites owned by other companies, we do not sell or rent your information, and we do not share it with data brokers.

Data Retention and Deletion

Information stored on your device stays there until you remove it. Deleting a photo or job in the App deletes its files, and deleting the App removes all of its data from your device. Copies you saved to Photos or iCloud Drive, or shared with others, stay where you put them until you delete them there.

Anonymous analytics cannot be linked back to you. Subscription records are kept by Apple and RevenueCat as needed to provide your purchases. Support emails are kept only as long as needed to help you, and you can ask us to delete them at any time.

Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal information about you, or to object to how it is used. Because your photos and details stay on your device, you can view, change or delete them in the App at any time. For anything else, contact us at the address below and we will help.

Children's Privacy

Our App is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have received personal information from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the new Privacy Policy on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the App after any changes indicates your acceptance of the new Privacy Policy.
